MasterCard® BusinessCard Benefits

  • Cell Phone Protection

    Provides cardholders supplemental reimbursement for damage or theft of an eligible cell phone. Cardholders must charge their monthly cell phone bill to their covered card. In addition to cell phones, certain types of personal digital assistants (PDA’s) that are also cell phones are eligible when terms and conditions of the benefit are met. Only cell phones purchased by the eligible cardholder are covered. Eligible cell phones are limited to the primary line and up to the first two secondary, additional, or supplemental lines as listed on the cardholder’s cellular provider monthly billing statement for the billing cycle preceding the month in which the theft or damage occurred.

Common Carrier Travel Accident Insurance (credit cards only) – Coverage of $500,000, along with a baggage delay benefit. The Covered Person will be reimbursed up to $100 per day, for a maximum of 3 days when checked baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours.

    Emergency cash and assistance in locating lost tickets and documents, and lost luggage assistance. Also provides information on required travel documents, immunization and currency rates.

  • MasterLegal® Referral Service

    Provides legal assistance and referrals to embassies and consulates while traveling and assistance in cash transfers to cover bail and legal fees.

  • Extended Warranty

    Extends the warranty time period for qualified purchases.

  • Purchase Assurance

    Covers qualified items stolen or damaged within 90 days of the original purchase.

    The VAT Reclaim Service from MasterCard provides companies doing business in Europe an easy and efficient way to reclaim their VAT.

  • MasterCard Global Service®

    Offers access to toll-free assistance, in over 140 languages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This toll-free number provides emergency card replacement within one business day in the U.S. and within two business days outside of the U.S. Cardholders may also have the option of other benefits such as lost/stolen card reporting, emergency cash advances, and MasterCard®, Maestro® and Cirrus® cash machine locators.

  • Zero Liability

    Cardholders have zero liability for unauthorized use as long as the cardholder has exercised reasonable care in safeguarding the card, has not reported two or more incidents of unauthorized use in the preceding 12 months, and the account is in good standing. Monthly Reports – Sent directly to the company contact which allows better expense tracking.
